Ilese Day Carnival Engenders Unity Of Purpose Among Indigenes - Odewale
A Chartered Accountant with passion for grassroots development, Otunba Odegbami Benjamin Odewale has described the annual Ilese Day Festival as an annual event that has further enhanced unity of purpose in Ilese township.
Speaking during an interview in his Ilese office the Chief Executive Officer, Catland Microfinance Bank, stated that the annual Ilese Day carnival had enhanced maximum peace in Ilese and its environs.
Otunba Odegbemi was of the opinion that the annual Ilese Day carnival had brought together various religions gatherings be it, Muslims, Christians and Traditionalist to a common filed and set the price for commercial efforts to be harnessed.
He maintained that the annual event have reshaped the potentials of the community, adding that had created the much needed platform through which funds are being generated to finance numerous capital projects that has upscale the fortunes of the community.
Otunba Odegbami added that the bank will continue to provide corporate social responsibilities to its immediate environment by introducing measures that will put smiles on the faces of the people.
He further applauded stakeholders in the community for being patriotic to their fatherland stressing the need for youth in the community to emulate some of the lofty ideas introduced by stakeholders in the community and further nurture it to a higher pedestal.
He also stressed the need for indigenes of the community in diaspora to show keen interest in the radical transformation of their fatherland.
Otunba Odegbami further pledged to enhance the potentials of Catland Microfinance Bank by re strategizing towards improving the performance of the Bank to make more profit and declare fat dividends to shareholders.
In his words of encouragement to small and medium scale entrepreneurs, he emphasised the need for business owners to demphasized on socials and look inward towards the direction of economic prosperity, improving their product and service towards customers satisfaction with this they will be able to make much more profit.
He enjoined the people of Ilese to continue to speak with one voice and focus more on areas that will position Ilese on the world Map.
